The New House  Country Hotel is a Grade II listed building, built in the 1730s by Thomas Lewis of Llanishen. It is believed that the New House started life as a hunting lodge.

New House Country Hotel is located in a quiet suburb of the capital city and offers 37 bedrooms. There are a choice of 5 function rooms, the largest accommodates 250 delegates in a theatre style layout or for a reception. The Georgian Suite has an adjacent lounge and terrace and is ideal for board room meetings for up to 25 delegates or it can be used for private dining for up to 50. The Senghenydd Room is larger and accommodates up to 70 theatre style or 60 for dining.
